Good Friday was Great Friday

The Bull Run Restaurant was standing room only for Danny Klein’s Full House. This new line up (I haven’t seen them live since the old line up) sounded the best I have ever heard them. They were tight and I believe the band had just as much fun if not more fun than the audience. With a crowd of about 300, i’d say that there were 250 people on the dance floor throughout the night.

My night began by meeting Danny and the band backstage and presenting DK with a Linda Jacque original piece of art from her Rock and Roll Tribute Collection (www.lindajacqueart.com).

Danny Klein’s Full House will rock the house on Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Bull Run Restaurant in Shirley, Massachusetts at 8 p.m.

The well-known nickname “Ace-on-Bass” just came up as a moniker when he started out, earning him the unforgettable title of amazing bass player in the 70s.

Danny says he’s become a little more introspective now that he’s had time away from the constant time traveling on the road in the 70s. And traveling is necessary if you’re going to get your sound out there to a live audience.
