From 1000Dances: This is the beginning of their last period, they cut their hair, dropped their black leather suits for colourful 80′s clothes and their recordings became less greasy and more radio friendly oriented. On ‘Love Stinks’, as often with the 80′s albums, the band seems to have some difficulties to bring the song from studio to stage and looks a little cold and tired. It seems it’s hard to dance for Peter Wolf, when the song is not a hard rocking one (or even a ballad). So, on ‘Sanctuary’, the band is back with his usual full energy.
