Geils singer Peter Wolf, and Bruins forward Shawn Thornton.

Chef Eddie Huang, owner of BaoHaus in New York’s East Village, was at Empire the other night, whipping up a taste sensation with Big Night Entertainment Group chef Kevin Long. The event, the kickoff of a celebrity chef series planned at Empire, attracted a few familiar faces, including Red Sox owner John Henry and wife Linda, Sox CEO Larry Lucchino and wife Stacey, J. Geils frontman Peter Wolf, author Ben Mezrich, Empire owners Ed and Joe Kane, and Randy Greenstein.
