A fantastic collection of concert tee-shirts by George Corneliussen, monitor mixer for the J.Geils Band between 1976 & 1979.
The soundtrack to the videos is an awesome 16 minute live version of ‘Serves You Right To Suffer’ (in two parts). Recorded in 1979 at a concert in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
Thanks to George Corneliussen for these exclusive photos he took from April 24, 1979 (the day of the J. Geils show at the Paradiso). The first two photos are the outside of the building. The third is the lobby and shows posters above a doorway.

Thanks to George Corneliussen for this photo he took from the late 70′s.

From George:
Recently, I began scanning old negatives from the Geils days. I’m attaching one. This is what Seth saw each night when he played his piano. He had a clavinet and some the mixers for his piano pickups sitting on top of his piano. He also had a mirror mounted on the piano so he could see what was going on onstage as he played ( since his back was to the band).
I took this picture before a show, the camera was pointed at the mirror. You can see Steven’s drums and Magic Dick’s harp stand reflected in the mirror.

Many thanks to George Corneliussen for sharing this great live audio recording of the J. Geils Band performing “Make Up Your Mind”.
George spent four years on the road with the J.Geils Band from 1976 to July 1979 as a monitor mixer. The video accompanying the song shows photos and memorabilia that George collected during his time touring with the band.
