J. Geils Band December Shows NOT Cancelled/Postponed Because of Injunction

Contrary to rumours on Facebook and various forums, the December J. Geils Band shows were NOT cancelled or postponed due to any injunction from Jay or his legal team.

    Don’t know why they were cancelled just that it had nothing to do with Jay. DK said in a phone interview that the band may tour in January/February. Check out the interview in this link: http://lnk.nu/wickedlocal.com/25y0

    I saw J Geils Band in both Allentown on 8/28 and Atlantic City on 9/15 and was hoping to see them on Philly at the Tower Theatre on 12/01. I hope they reschedule soon. I was hoping for a hat trick in 2012.

    Does anyone know if they are going to reschedule Detroit? I paid $450.00 for tickets back in August for a December show that was “postponed”. Here it is mid-March and I can’t get a refund because they haven’t “officially cancelled”. Was looking forward to the show and of course I would love to see them in concert again (it’s always a great show) but if they aren’t rescheduling, I’d like to get my money back (finally).
