I was there, fantastic show. The Fillmore is a great venue, great sound, you could here all the instruments clearly. The addition of the Uptown Horns and the two back-up singers really added a lot to an already great band.

I was lucky enough to meet up with them at the hotel in the early afternoon and had a chance to speak briefly with Danny Klein. He was very friendly and during our discussion said that he felt the band was playing better than they have in years. I had not seen them since the mid 70s (from 69 to somewhere around 77) I had seen them over 30 times and can happily say that he was not joking. They blew the roof of the place from start to finish. An unbelievable show.
