The J.Geils Jazz and Blues Review is a trip through the twin idioms of American roots music – jazz and blues. Led by three time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee, J.Geils – founder and guitarist of the J.Geils Band – it is a salute to these two uniquely American art forms. From Count Basie, BB King, T-Bone Walker and beyond, this all star review delivers the goods in every way. Featuring award winning guitarist Gerry Beaudoin, swing master guitarist and vocalist Doug Bell, Grammy winning saxophonist, composer, arranger and pianist Fred Lipsius of Blood, Sweat, and Tears, and vocalist Cassandre Mckinley. Also included in the group are saxophonist Rich Lataille and trumpeter Doug Wolverton from Roomful of Blues, vibraphone phenomena Gerard Beaudoin 3rd, as well as bassist Jesse Williams and drummer Les Harris Jr. Come and enjoy a swinging trip down America’s bluesy musical highway with J.Geils in the driver’s seat.
